Douglas Prohaski's Story
Douglas Prohaski built his foundation in accounting and finance, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loras College and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. From the start, he was drawn to the place where numbers meet operations and decisions get made.
He spent more than 22 years at C.H. Robinson, rising to Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Sourcing Division, a business with 800 employees and $2B in sales. There, he led Accounting, Pricing, FP&A, M&A, Operational Efficiency, and Manufacturing and Supply Chain, presenting financial performance directly to the CEO, CFO, investors, and the board. In 2017, he launched Prohaski Accounting & Finance to bring that same operator's perspective to owners and founders who need it most.
